  • Contingent Business Income

    Coverage snapshot

You’re part of a supply chain and are interconnected to others, either as one of your suppliers or as one of your customers. A break in the chain can negatively impact your sales. Contingent Business Income covers you for loss of business income resulting from physical loss or damage to property located at one or more of your direct or indirect customers, suppliers, or contract service providers.

  • Commercial General Liability

    Coverage snapshot

Even if you’re not a manufacturer, sometimes you need to alter, assemble, or re-package a product before you deliver it, which means you could be held partly responsible for any bodily injury or property damage traced back to your dealings with the product. You don’t have to be a manufacturer to have a liability claim, so it’s important to be protected.

  • Logistics Extra Expense

    Coverage snapshot

If the normal movement of goods or materials between your premises and a contingent property location is disrupted because of covered physical loss or damage to property, Logistics Extra Expense has you covered, providing funds for reasonable and necessary additional expenses you incur to keep things moving. Combined with Contingent Business Income, these two coverages offer comprehensive protection for your business.

  • Stock Spoilage

    Coverage Snapshot

All kinds of stock require specific temperature controls to keep from spoiling. Stock Spoilage helps cover the loss of, or damage to, perishable stock stored on premises, caused by or resulting from spoilage due to dampness, dryness of atmosphere, or changes in temperature.

  • Transportation and Cargo Legal Liability Coverage

    Coverage snapshot

You want to get the goods from A to Z in time and undamaged, but some trips are riskier than others. While in transit, there’s always a risk that your product could accidently get crushed, dropped, or damaged. Transportation and Cargo Legal Liability can protect against physical loss or damage to your goods, or to your customers’ goods, while being transported by truck, train, air, or water, including while being loaded or unloaded.

  • Undescribed Locations - Contents (Worldwide)

    Coverage snapshot

In this economy, thinking internationally is key to growing your business. Naturally, Canadian wholesalers are looking to serve a growing global economy and may find they have stock or equipment at various places outside of North America that they need to protect.

  • Contractual Penalties Extension

    Coverage Snapshot

The Contractual Penalties Extension complements your Business Income protection. If you experience physical loss or damage to your operations or property, and this results in the late or non-completion of an order, the Contractual Penalties Extension helps cover fines, damages, or penalties for breach of a written contract that you are legally liable to pay.

  • Crime

    Coverage snapshot

A warehouse, storage facility or transportation depot can store a wide variety of goods, some that can be quite valuable and a target for thieves.  Sometimes, those thieves can even be your own employees.  Crime coverage can provide protection for loss of money, securities, or other property due to theft or forgery by an employee.

  • Equipment Breakdown

    Coverage snapshot

When you operate a large storage facility, whether as a warehouse or as a wholesale distributor, you work with a lot of equipment, each with moving parts that are susceptible to breaking down from time to time. Equipment Breakdown provides coverage at your insured location for: boilers, pressure vessels, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, and electrical or electronic apparatus that are connected and ready for use. This coverage allows you to protect and manage your business in the event of an unexpected breakdown.

  • Property Legal Liability

    Coverage snapshot

Operating a warehouse requires that you take reasonable care of your customer’s goods. Sometimes, despite detailed organization, planning, and coordination, things can still get misplaced or damaged. Property Legal Liability coverage protects you in the event you are found to be legally responsible for loss or damage to your customers’ merchandise while it’s in your care, custody, and control.

  • Fraudulent of Lading - optional coverage under Transportion and Cargo Legal Liability

    Coverage snapshot

Fraud isn’t just something that happens online and in the shadows. Your team could be susceptible to calculated and experienced imposters at various stages of your operations. Fraudulent Bills of Lading helps cover damage to property (typically theft of cargo) resulting from the Insured, in good faith, accepting a fraudulent bill of lading/contract from an imposter.

  • Non-Owned Shipping Containers - optional coverage under Transportation and Cargo Legal Liability

    Coverage snapshot

Protecting your stock is essential, and it’s equally important to insure the containers used to ship your goods. Intermodal/shipping containers are included as Insured Property if included in the value of the shipment, i.e. on the Bill of Lading. However, if the shipping container used to ship your insured property is not included on the Bill of Lading, the Non-Owned Shipping Containers extension provides coverage for loss of, or damage to, containers owned by others that are in an Insured’s care, custody, and control.

  • Temperature Control Apparatus Breakdown - optional coverage under Transportation and Cargo Legal Liabilty

    Coverage snapshot

Temperature-controlled vehicles are specially designed to maintain a specific temperature to protect perishable goods like seafood, meat, dairy, produce and more. Temperature Control Apparatus Breakdown helps cover loss or damage to property resulting from breakdown, failure, or inefficient operation, on any transporting vehicle, of any refrigeration, humidity control, cooling or heating apparatus, connections, or supply pipes.
