Coverage varies by option selected and policy wording. Refer to the Personal Cyber Sell Sheet for full coverage details and claim scenarios. 

Available limits range from $10,000 to $100,000, with deductibles starting at $500, increasing as higher limits are selected.

Exclusions and limitations apply; for example, coverage does not apply to intentional or dishonest acts, pre-existing incidents, losses reimbursed by a financial institution, or business activities (unless the optional Home Business Package is purchased). Refer to the policy wording for full details.

Eligibility and Placement

Eligibility depends on policy type and location. The insured’s principal residence must be in Canada.

The endorsement can be added at new business or renewal, subject to underwriting guidelines.

Coverage is designed to protect the named insured and members of their household.

Claims and Incident Support

Customers should report incidents as soon as they are discovered to enable timely response and support. Refer to incident response guidelines in the resource center for detailed guidance.

Covered scenarios may include phishing, online cyber fraud and scams, ransomware, identity theft, cyberbullying, or compromised connected devices, subject to policy terms.

Claims are handled under the applicable coverage. Any impact on premiums or renewal may vary depending on the situation.
